Vicky & Jonny
Our 2015 Cannes Short Film Corner project, Vicky & Jonny, was created in conjunction with an incredible actress named Tina Tanzer. She Executive Produced the short film while I wrote and directed it. We were brought together by the enigmatic Arturo Castro, from The Menu, Narcos, & Broad City, in 2014, and who would join the production in the role of Jonny. We also had the wonderful luck to work with rising star Oona Laurence from The Beguiled & Big Time Adolescence as Young Vicky Jones.
Abandoned in a diner, Vicky Jones spends her entire life under the shadow of self-loathing. It is her cinematic journey we watch as she empowers herself with forgiveness and the ability to move forward in her life .
